Description
Ecover is one of the best-selling brands of organic detergents. Ecover products are made from plant-based or mineral-based ingredients and contain no oil components. Their packaging is recyclable and the detergents themselves are ecologically degradable, so the impact on the nature is minimal. Ecover does not test its products on animals and the products are suitable also for sensitive skin. Ecover has been awarded by the United Nations for its outstanding environmental operation.
Frans Bogaerts founded Ecover with his co-workers in 1979. Their first product was the washing powder and during the next years, they developed products for the whole household. In 1992 Ecover built an organic factory in Malle, Belgium. The main goal of the company is the environmentally friendly maintenance of the household.
Composition
< 5% soap, < 5% anionic surfactants, 5-15% nonionic surfactants, limonene perfumes, citral. WARNING: H319 - Causes serious eye irritation. P102 - Keep out of the reach of children. P305 + P351 + P338 - IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if worn and if they can be removed easily. Continue rinsing. P337 + P313 - If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/treatment. P101 - If medical attention is needed, have product container or label at hand. Dermatologically tested, suitable for sensitive skin. Gentle on delicate fabrics. DOSAGE: 1 cap = 40 ml machine wash (2.5 kg) / soft water = 30 ml / medium hard water = 45 ml (25 ml + 20 ml) hand wash (4-5 kg) / medium hard water = 20 ml per 5 l of water INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Suitable for all delicate fabrics, including wool and silk. Do not pour directly on laundry. Comply washing instructions on the laundry label. Suitable for washing in cold water and at low temperatures of 30-40 °C. Textiles with flame retardant finish: never soak or wash at a temperature higher than 50°C. This detergent has been approved by The Woolmark Company for washing woolen garments provided they are Wash clothes according to the instructions on the garment label and according to the instructions of the manufacturer of this detergent.
