Description
Use:
- Porridge - just pour hot water, plant-based drink or milk over the rye flakes, for a more creamy taste cook for a few minutes
- Cream soups - add the rye flakes into a vegetable soup, cook for a while and blend, be careful with the amount of flakes, they grow in volume a lot when cooked
- Pastry - replace 1 of flour with the wheat flakes when preparing bread, pancakes, cookies or rolls
- Smoothie - blend your favourite fruit with eater, plant-based drink or milk, add steamed or cooked flakes, seeds, yoghurt, syrup, vegetables or anything else
- Hash browns, burgers, meatloaf - blend the rye flakes slightly with steamed or fried vegetables, cooked legumes, add an egg or Hraška, fried onion, herbs, garlic, salt and water if necessary, fry or bake in the oven
- Spreads - pour a little bit of water over slightly roasted vegetables, add the rye flakes (just a little bit to thicken), cook for a few minutes, blend and flavour with soy sauce, ume vinegar and nutritional yeast, you can also add tofu or tempeh if you like
- Granola - mix the rye flakes with your favourite syrup and oil (olive or coconut oil taste great), add dried fruit, seeds, nuts, dried coconut, cocoa beans, cinnamon, carob powder, pre-soaked buckwheat groats, bake for 60 minutes at 110 °C under occasional stirring
- Crumb topping - blend 50 g of almonds, 150 g of rye flakes, 6 tablespoons of rice syrup and 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- Unbaked cookies - blend the rye flakes with pre-soaked dried fruit, coconut oil and syrup, you can also add seeds, nuts, dried coconut, carob powder or cinnamon; for the mixture into the shape of balls and cover them in dried coconut, carob or sesame
