A mix inspired by culinary art of the Cherokee Indian tribe, living today in the southeast of the USA. These Indians like to cook pea soup very similar to the Czech pea, in combination with various kinds of beans that they have been growing for centuries.
The establishment of HOPI legume mixes dates back to 1995. Having been inspired by ancient recipes and times when people had not used artificial flavourings and chemical preservatives, the company developed a series of 3 products (Siesta, Ontario, Ó hladové já). The original founders of the company were former English teachers Jana Gazarová (now Nováková) and Andrew Glueck (USA), who are the company´s main shareholders up to now.
